Antarctic Expeditions
The White Continent offers a life changing experience like no other. With no permanent human habitation permitted, Antarctica is able to provide travelers with unforgettable wildlife encounters and remarkable views of untouched scenic terrain.
Wildlife

Penguins, Seals, Orcas, Blue Whales and other various flight capable birds all call Antarctica home at some point throughout the year. Cruisers will have the opportunity to view both land and sea wildlife, while fly in travelers will be restricted to land based wildlife encounters.
Sailing to Antarctica

Almost all Antarctic Cruises will depart from either Chile or Argentina due to their close proximity to the southernmost continent. Sporadically throughout the season, expedition ships will depart from Australia and New Zealand.
Antarctic Travel Season

Antarctica is located in the southern hemisphere and experiences its summer season from October to February. Due to the continent's location, the days are generously long and eventually become continuous as the sun does not set during the high summer season.
Cruising season starts in October and lasts until March.
Flying season starts in November and lasts until January.
Flying to Antarctica

Flights to Antarctica depart from both South America and South Africa. Both single day and overnight multi day trips are available. Accommodations for overnight stays range from camping tents to full service luxury hotel pods.
Scenary

Make sure you have plenty of space available on your phone and/or camera for pictures and videos before you leave for your trip. Aboard the ships, professional photographers will also be available to help capture the highest quality photos. Expect to see glaciers, icebergs, mountainous terrain and, of course, wildlife.
